Stick Family Art Activity

A child’s immediate family are the centre of his world and we want to celebrate their importance at school too. Here is a unique way to show their value through natural materials through this stick family art activity.

You will need:

1. Sticks. One stick each for each member of the child’s family.

2. Google Eyes. To paste on the sticks.

3. Paint. To paint the sticks.

4. Labels to tie on

5. Ribbon

Method:

Allow the children to paint the sticks. Then you can paste on the eyes and tie on the ribbon with the label.

The label must say: “We are family. We always stick together.”

This is a cute reminder that family are always there for each other.
