Mulberry jam

You will need:

  1. 2 cups mulberries with stalks removed

  2. I and a half cups sugar

  3. 1 teaspoon grated lemon rind

  4. 2 teaspoons lemon juice

To do:

  1. Wash mulberries. Place in a saucepan with the sugar, juice and rind.

  2. Stir over low heat until sugar dissolves. Increase heat; boil for about 10 until the mixture thickens.

  3. Skim, pour into a bowl and let the mixture stand overnight. Stir several times

  4. Heat a glass jar in the oven, pour slowly and seal jar

  5. Label your jam.
