Paper plate lions

These lion paper plates are a cheerful addition to your animal theme and require some fine motor work to create the mane with the fork.

You will need:

1. A fork

2. Paper plate

3. Bowl of thick orange paint

4. A bowl of yellow paint

5. Paint brush

6. Googly eyes and glue

7. Black marker pen

To do:

1. Dip a fork into the bowl of orange paint

2. Press the fork, flat side down on the outside of the paper plate .

3. Continue until the outer paper plate is printed with fork prints.

4. Using a paint brush, dip the paint brush into the bowl of yellow paint and paint the middle of the paper plate.

5. Stick two google eyes in the centre of the plate and assist your child with drawing a mouth and whiskers.
